International Department

 

History of International department of ASU started in 1992 when the University began to give Russian lessons to foreign people as students at the University auditoriums. Years had passed, and in 2008, the department of Russian language became established as the International Faculty, one of the arms of the University. Henceforth, foreign students and nations, who come to Russia, have the opportunity to study Russian language as a foreign language, which is a prerequisite to studying at ASU.

International department

 

Since 1992 Adyghe State University provides training of foreign citizens in programs of higher education on a commercial basis, and also since 2005 on a budgetary basis according to international agreements on the direction of the Federal Agency for Education. The average annual contingent is about 70 students. At the moment, at the preliminary department of the international faculty 50 students on a budgetary basis are taught. 120 foreign students, who are studying in various faculties of the ASU, continue study of the Russian language at the advanced level. Classes are conducted by teachers of the RaFL department. Foreign students who came for study at ASU are from Israel, Jordan, Mongolia, Syria, Germany, USA, Nigeria, Turkey, Sudan, Chad and Yemen.

  1. To prepare a student visa. After receiving the invitation letter, the student should contact the Russian Embassy in his / her home country to apply for a student visa. For applying for the visa student have to provide the following documents:

  1. Entry into Russia.

To enter the territory of the Russian Federation and be accepted to the University, student must have the following documents:

  1. Passport (valid for at least two years),

  2. Student visa

  3. Migration card (delivered on board the aircraft or the airport, the student must be completed, stamped by Customs at the airport immediately after arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation).

 

For students entering the Preliminary course or those who want to study at the first year:

  1. The original certificate of high school (including the application of CCA / transcript), which must be legalized (stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Ministry of Education) and the Russian Embassy in the country where the student received the certificate);

  2. 2 copies of legalized certificate of complete secondary education. It should be legalized in the Russian Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation of your country.

  3. 2 copies of the legalized certificate of complete secondary education translated into Russian attested by a notary of the Russian Embassy in your country.

  4. The original of a health certificate and also translated into Russian language copy of a health certificate.

  5. Original Certificate for the AIDS analysis and also translated copy into Russian. We remind you that the certificate validity is of 3 months.

  6. An Extract from the medical records of vaccinated.

  7. 6 color photos (3x4 cm) on matte paper.

 

Students coming to get the Master's degree, graduate degrees or graduate school, must submit the following documents:

 

  1. The original bachelor certificate (including the application of CCA / transcript), which must be legalized (stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Ministry of Education) and the Russian Embassy in the country where the student received the certificate);

  2. 2 copies of the legalized bachelor certificate. It should be legalized in the Russian Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation of your country.

  3. 2 copies of the legalized bachelor certificate translated into Russian attested by a notary of the Russian Embassy in your country.

  4. The transcript for all academic years (including a list of subjects studied, evaluation, and the number of hours of study for each subject), which must be legalized (stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Ministry of Education) and the Russian Embassy in the country where the student received the bachelor certificate).

  5. 2 copies of the legalized transcript. It should be legalized in the Russian Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation of your country.

  6. 2 copies of the legalized transcript translated into Russian attested by a notary of the Russian Embassy in your country.
